This program is being closed off to the public in the next few days. And it will be. I’ve seen them do it before.

But it “may” be re-opened at a later date. If it’s successful in all its claims then it will make a reappearance but I’m sure the price will be higher.

Now would be the time to get in on the low “LifeTime” purchase price.

A League of Extraordinary Minds

Posted in Free, Marketing by Tim Brownlaw - Oct 25 2009

Get Mentored by the Worlds Best.

Rich Schefren and Jay Abraham are two individuals who are behind a lot of very successful Internet Marketers. As Mentors, if you can afford them, these are the guys to have.

Something for Nothing?

Their latest Joint Venture – A League of Extraordinary Minds -promises to give us access to over 50 of the worlds top business advisors. The website mentions that these individuals will be like our very own mentors, for FREE!

There will be a total of 9 Sessions that will consist of a Panel. Each of these sessions will answer a series of questions on a specific topic. ( Topics are listed on the website )

There is a very attractive One Time Offer!

The 9 Sessions are Free, over a 6 week period. That in itself is something to get excited about although 6 weeks is a long time to wait. I’m kind of impatient like that. It is better to spread out these things so you have time to digest them.

Anyway, Free is Free but on signing up you will be presented with an OTO package.

The OTO (One Time Offer) includes Rich’s and Jay’s Home Course ( not cheap to have bought when it was released ) and 1 months free membership to their ongoing mentoring. For $67USD ( for the time being ) it’s a very Good Deal. Plus you’ll get in at half price on the mentoring membership. Again not too shabby.

So you are going to get…

Access to 9 Sessions where the top world business advisors are going to answer a number of questions on a specific topic. This is FREE and invaluable as it’s not something you are going come across anywhere else.

Access to their Home Course and a Free Months membership for $67USD One Time Payment.

Then if you wish to continue on with the membership it’ll be reduced to $47USD / month which you’ll be locked in at. You can of course ( and write yourself a note on your Calander ) cancel after the 6 weeks.

The Home Course is just under $5,000 USD to buy on it’s own BUT it is included in the $67USD.

It all happens on the 29th Oct.

So get yourself signed up and start receiving invites to the webinars. I’m assuming that if you miss them that they will be available as recordings.

I for one, am personally looking forward to them.

You are in Business!

Just remember that you are in Business. Even though you are operating on the internet, the same rules still apply. So ANY information you can get on how to be successful in Your Business is invaluable to you NOW and in the Future. Because without this kind of information under your belt, Your Future may be short lived.

I’ve just been on the phone to a nice lady from my ISP helping me out with my internet issues.

Thanks Monica – everythings running a treat now.

And it came up in conversation that I run Linux which she replied to not ever having heard of it.

Bad Bill Gates and his mates for blinding people…..

It’s the old problem of I know about it so….

What we take for granted, a lot of people have no idea of. So as I’m very big on education, I think it’s time I wrote about the wonders of Linux. It’s just something that keeps coming up time and time again. At least I’ll have somewhere to point people to so they can at least see what it’s all about.

I’m not a Windows Hater…

I still have to use it for some things…That list of things is getting smaller all the time thank goodness…. So I run Windows as it’s name suggests – In another Window on my Linux System.

I use a free Virtual Machine Server called VMWare Server. There is other software out there that can do the same thing, but I really like my VMWare Server. So I run Windows as a program in a Window for when I’m using any conferencing software that is Windows Bound.

Everything else I do – I can do on Linux and it’s really painful going back to Windows due to its really clunky interface. My students will testify they hear me saying – “Oh I can’t do THAT in Windows – bugger!”

So It’s on my list of things to do. But if you are just too curious to wait, you can get yourself the latest version of Kubuntu. Download it, save the ISO image, Burn it to CD. Make sure that you get the Desktop version as it will let you run Kubuntu LIVE from the CD without messing anything up on your system so you can see what it looks like.

It’s not as good as installing it proper, but it will run and let you play with it.

There is a hell of a lot of “How To” on dual booting with Windows etc if you want to go that far with it. But do keep in mind – if you are still Windows Bound – but the programs you are running ( if you are a Windows user ) then Linux may not be for you.

Out of the box though, for the majority of users it works better than Bill’s contribution to the world. I had upgraded my Uncles Laptop from Windows as it kept crashing to Kubuntu 9.04 and he’s as happy as Larry. His USB works  – his email works – he’s running OpenOffice (which everyone should – are you running a pirate copy of Bill’s Office software – tsk tsk..) which is better than Bills Office.

Did I mention that it’s all FREE!

Yep Free and it works. And for those things that Don’t work – you can find out how to fix it and then actually Fix it – unlike Bill’s stuff. Yes that will feel strange for a little while.

Linux is a different world behind the scenes, so coming from Windows Land to Linix Land will feel a bit strange.. Everything works the same – just better and of course much more thought is given to the Ubuntu and Kubuntus of the world….

There’s alot of great Software I need to talk about here…. So looks like I have some work to do.

If you are funny about the Free thing…

This also comes up alot – “If it’s Free it can’t be that good!”. Umm well think about a whole lot of people getting together to make the world a better place. They are obviously out there.

Yes there are ways and means that these people make a quid. Usually doing corporate support etc. Look at this Blog Script – WordPress – It’s Free.

WAMP is FREE. which is a Windows, Apache, MySQL and PHP Server.

Inkscape is FREE, FreeMind is Free, OpenOffice is FREE (but there is a paid Suite Version) and on and on it goes…

Think Students, Schools, Governments, Businesses, that are all going the Free Software route. It’s growing and rightly so. Too long have we been held hostage to expensive software that just doesn’t work.

Anyway, I’m getting up on my High Horse over this so I’ll leave it here for now. I’ll get some screen shots up of my setup in the next day or two.

I’ve got to go and help out a client get their network running then get ready for my PHP Class in the morning. Ahh it’s all work but its so much fun.

Plus I’m meant to be writing more on my WordPress Tutorial Website on how to improve on this FREE WordPress Theme and doing it. Where do all the hours go.

Cheers

Tim

It’s now less than 2 days before GVO officially launches which is kind of exciting.

GVO is the new name of the hosting company called Kiosk. Now I’ve been with Kiosk for over 7 years using their services ( not just their webhosting ) and over that time, they’ve developed a number of programs that work in conjunction with any internet business.

The reason I initially joined Kiosk those 7 years back was due to their live online conference calls. The hosting plans at the time allowed 3 websites to be hosted, but it was the community behind the scenes that attracted me. Plus I was also looking for a new hosting company at the time, so the timing was just right.

Now this is way before “Social Marketing” came to the forefront. We were meeting in the conference rooms – getting to meet other markters and people starting out with their first websites and it was through this interaction that I ended up finding I was good at helping out people with the “Techy” stuff.

So it gave me a very good platform to do just that. When I ended up getting another account I asked those folk what would be a good username. The result was “ausome” au for Australia ( where I live ) and “awesome” because I had helped them out getting some php scripting working for them. See those moments still stick in your mind which I kind of love.

Anyway, I’ve since been long time friends with a number of those “folk” to the point where we still meet online, at least once a week and each of us conducts a live online conference call in our particular areas of expertise. Mine being, HTML, CSS with PHP and MySQL database design and implementation. Plus a lot of other stuff I’ve picked up along the way. It’s not all boring geeky stuff.

We do that as a group under our own website ” http://www.internetnichelab.com” and have been doing so for,  gosh  – a good 4 years solid.

Our own online Conference Rooms

We could do that because Kiosk had developed their very own Conferencing software at a price that was really affordable anyone could get one… or a few. It’s now developed into a Flash platform so it can be run on any operating system using a web browser.

Autoresponders

Kiosk has had an Autoresponder service as part of it’s hosting packages for donkeys years. Although I was never a great fan of it myself, it’s there and useable. There is a new incarnation of the Autoresponder that is meant to be equal to Get Response or Aweber. I’m out to lunch on that till I see it in operation.

Video Creationg and Hosting.

This is new having been released a few months ago as a standalone service. Free for the 1st five videos then a monthly fee for more… I’ve not yet used it myself, but I’ve had a good look at it and it does what it’s meant to do. There are many people creating and hosting their videos on it. So it’s nice and Stable. WIth the GVO Launch this is bundled into the membership account.

I’m not sure on the limitations, if any, that will apply under this new regime. Again I’ll know more in a couple of days time.

The Hosting.

This is the primary service of GVO (kiosk). For the last two years the hositng package has blown out to an incredible 70Gig with it’s very own Web Hosting Manager. This is NOT to be confused with getting “Unlimited” domain hosting under a single Cpanel account using Add On Domains.

With a Web Hosting Manager – you can create any kind of Hosting Account with it’s very OWN Cpanel login. This let’s you create and give away hosting accounts to get subscribers or you can just resell these accounts.

With the number of websites I have now and will have in the future, this has turned out to be a very good solution.

With GVO though, there is mention of Unlimited Resellers Accounts. Sounds good. What they had done in the past is offer a service where you became a Reseller and the Kiosk Staff handled all the tech and billing support under your name. Which is quite incredible by any standards.

So it’ll be interesting to see what this “reseller hosting” will entail.

The Really Fun Part.

This is where alot of people start getting really excited. GVO has a new compensation plan. Which means you will earn a very nice residual monthly commission for anyone you refer. Of course if you join under myself, I’ll earn a nice monthly commission as well.

This is the business side to GVO. It’s compensation plan. I’m not going to get involved in the maths of it. The way I look at these things is:

  1. Does the company offer good Service(s) and customer support. To date that’s been a big yes. Hey I’ve been with them for 7 years….Through thick and thin and have always been well looked after.
  2. Is the company going to stick around? Hmm well as Kiosk has come form a small hosting company which I watched grow slow and steady to what it is today, and in two days time, GVO is an ongoing concern.
  3. Is it all going to Fly? Well there are a huge number of Marketers much more advanced than I am with huge businesses behind them that have joined up with GVO and been promoting it for quite some months while in prelaunch. Names I’ve seen around the traps obviously see that GVO is an attactive offer they are going to make a nice profit from…. How many hosting companies can claim that… I’ve not seen it before. If you have let me know…
  4. Does the company understand it’s client base needs? We’ve ( the members ) havespoken over the years and most time been listened too! Which has seen a lot of programs being developed over the years. Not all of them made the “Big Time” list. Some flopped but if you don’t try….And Try and Succeed is one thing GVO has done over the years. The majority of clients are MLMers.

It’s quite and exciting time.

For myself, personally, it’s really exciting to see a company I’ve been with for what seems like Eons develop as it has. GVO is bound to take the internet business by Storm.

So A Company Whose Services Meets the Needs….

Of the little fellow/lass just starting out to the big “Guru” marketer has to have some legs to it.

This is NOT a program that you have to promote to make a living online. You’ve probably got a business or two already. If you have, GVO has everything you’ll need to help you grown your current business(s). And you’ll get the opportunity to learn from some of these “Big Names” as part of your membership.

Don’t forget the Social Aspect.

GVO (Kiosk) has grown on the backs of allowing it’s members to interact with each other and have access to Live Online Classes on everything internet related from how to Spell HTML to how to Market your existing Business.

To date it’s been profitable for myself to be associated with them and will be for the future. From conducting my own internet business sites ( guess where this Blog is Hosted?) to promoting their services to others. There is definitely a Future with GVO and it’s going to Grow.

Do The Math

To get any combination of the Services you’ll get with your GVO membership would cost you a whole lot more if you got them separately. Which is their marketing strategy. Offer a bunch of useful services for a hiighly reduced cost PLUS thow in the opportunity to make a nice profit by promoting GVO to others.

It’s MLM and Affiliate Marketing at it’s finest. I see the demand for this being much higher than I can imagine ( I have a very good imagination. just ask my imaginary friends ) but seriously , yes it easy to get all Hyped up about these things. And yes the proof will be in the pudding. But you’ll be able to get in for $1 for 7 days to see what you’ll be getting.

No rush though – when the launch arrives I’ll be in my members area checking out “Everything” and I’ll report back here on what I find. If you can wait for that…

My Recommendations

I’d recommend laeving your name and email address to get you in early so you can become apart of this.

I’ll also be available after the launch to help you out if you need it. Remember that you’ll have access to all the training, help etc within the members area, but I’ll look after you if you need help.

I remember a time when I first joined and was blown away by everything there was, and that was 7 years ago. If you’ve ever only had a hosting account, you’ll be like a kid in a candy store when you get inside GVO’s members area. That I can Guarantee!

Watch the Video and Join The Early Bird List Right Here. The sound isn’t that brilliant, which is a bit of a surprise, but it definitely gets the message across.

Cheers

Tim
